ABOUT ME

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with more than 11 years of experience helping people interrupt unhealthy behaviors with food. I strive to provide compassionate and empathetic care while helping you on the journey to normal and healthy eating. My goal is to help you feel confident in your choices and connected to your body’s needs and cues. I have experience disrupting disordered eating behaviors and food choices through prescriptive, intuitive, and mindful eating. I also have experience with weight management and body image support.
 
I enjoy getting to know clients while we work together to target behaviors, set goals, and make changes. I am aware conversations about food or weight may be difficult and work to create a safe, judgment-free space. I recognize that no two people are the same and tailor my approach to fit your unique needs. Some individuals may need one or two visits and others will benefit from several sessions. I have spent my career in an outpatient setting so I can have the opportunity to work with those who need more time. I often explain my approach as a partnership, one where I hope you feel comfortable letting me know if you feel like we are on the right course or need to make changes to lead to success and meet your goals.

APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

Sessions are typically 30-60 minutes. I offer Telehealth services by appointment, typically Monday through Thursday. I offer evening appointments Monday through Wednesday.

I currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, First Health, Health Partners, Hennepin Health, Medica, Medicare, and UCare.

I am currently seeing clients through LynLake Centers for Wellbeing, Plymouth Psych Group (Medica only here), and private pay.

I highly recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm coverage for dietitian services. I bill using CPT (procedure) code 97802 for an initial assessment and 97803 for follow-up visits. Diagnostic codes vary by individual. I also recommend asking if a referral is needed, if there is a limit to the number of covered sessions, and if a copay is required.
